How to do a simple skin allergy test.
- Read the product label. Normally, the product label will indicate what are the ingredients used to manufacture the product. You know your body and from the information disclosed on the label you can make an informed decision if any of the ingredients of the product may irritate your skin and therefore can opt for something else without a potential allergen. Check for expiry date and directions of storage and use as well.
- Put a good amount on your skin. Preferably on your wrist because it is easier and has a thinner layer and more sensitive than other parts of your hand.
- Leave it for 2-3 minutes. Observe if it gets itchy or rash is starting to appear. If so, immediately wipe, wash, and rinse it off. Stop use immediately and consult your doctor. If none appears or happen, then you are good to use the product continuously.
This is a recommended practice if you are not sure if you have allergies or do not know if you are allergic to something. Although our products are made with USDA Organic Certified oils and ingredients that are non-toxic and chemical-free, it is better to be extra cautious. By this, our products are made with mostly edible oils and butter but the products are for EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
